Downloaded and created DVD with the newest Server Update 1.9. WHen running from the GUI, select the updates, click update and it does nothing. If I run from a command prompt running suu -u I receive the following errors.
System is compliant with prerequisites
ERROR: 'Content is not allowed in prolog.'
ERROR: 'com.sun.org.apache.xml.internal.utils.WrappedRuntimeException: Content
is not allowed in prolog.'
An error occured during the transformation of the XSL while creating the custom
XML
javax.xml.transform.TransformerException: com.sun.org.apache.xml.internal.utils.
WrappedRuntimeException: Content is not allowed in prolog.
exiting SUU application ...
This is running on a 2950 with Windows 2008 Ent. Server.
Any Ideas?

I got a similar error. The XML files contain nulls. I'm going to call Dell support and try to get them to fix the iso images.

My bad..
I thought that they were 2 ISO images. Turns out it that they took one giant ISO and just split it into 2 files. You need to download both files and then concatenate them back together.
copy /b OM_6.1.1_SUU_A00.iso.001+OM_6.1.1_SUU_A00.iso.002

Check the logs in c:\dell\suu. They should point you to an XML file probably in the repository folder. Open that file with notepad and see if it's ok. Post back with the name of the file and I'll check to see if mine looks ok.

Looks as if you run the suu.cmd -u, it may actually update. The GUI does nothing.
