Flashing light I cannot extinguish
I have a Dell PowerEdge 2550 with the flashing amber light going off consistently. The problem was a failed disk in the raid array. I've replaced that, the system rebuilt the drive and DSET and Open Manager report no problems. The server is also functioning fine.
I've read the postings on here and tried all the suggestions to get that light off, and I can't. Power cycling doesn't do it. Clearing the ESM log through DSET doesn't work. How can I get this light back to it's normal state? I've seen a lot of posts about this that had no response. I really need one. please help.

Hi, wroach -
I just had to do the same this morning, after an ESM and BIOs update. I had to not only clear the alerts from all 3 logs in IT Assistant, but also power cycle the system for 30 seconds to clear the status light.
HTH.
