Flex Addressing change does not work
Description: If a server (M710HD) has a chassis assigned WWN and it is changed to server assigned the update does not take effect. The broadcast WWNs are still the chassis assigned. We have rebooted the server a number of times, moved uplink switch ports to new fabric switch, reseated the blade, moved the blade between different slots in the same chassis. The dedicated iDRAC on the blade shows server assigned WWNs however the chassis ones are being presented to the Switch.
Current state: Reverted back to chassis addressing
- So basically, the Chassis is not flushing its cache of addresses.
Can anyone suggest a solutiion for this, or point out what we are doing wrong?
(Pls Note: Powering off the chassis is NOT an option).

Hello John,
The recommendation is to power off the blade and then turn off FlexAddressing.
Please let us know if this works for you. If not, please share your firmware levels of the blade as well as the CMC.
