hard disk failure notification via email
Does anyone know of a way to get email alerts (hard disk failure) from a Server 2008 Standard SP2 64 bit T300? OMSA doesnt do it and OME cant be installed on a domain controller. There must be something that will work, but I cant find it.

You set up email alerts from the DRAC console.

The DRAC console PEF filter list does not include the hard drives. How do we add them?

You can also choose to setup the Email configuration - OMSA. [Preference -> General Preferences (Server Preferences) section. Attached reference snaps of help section & Preference page.

I'm wondering too, will the idrac6 really send an email about hard drive failures even if the alert filter list does not contain anything related to hard drives?
