how to set temperature threshold?

Hi,

I'm trying to find a way to set the Warning and critical max values threshold on a few servers at the same time using IT assistant 8.0.1 but I just can't find how. I need to modify CPUs and BMCs values. If it can't be done via IT assistant, anyone knows why I can only modify the BMC Anbient Temp in OMAS and a way to modify other values?

Thanks for the help!

Carl

OpenManage Server Administrator (OMSA) is the software that allows you to configure warning and critical thresholds for your servers. If the server crosses those thresholds, Alerts would be generated. IT Assistant (ITA) allows you to monitor and act upon these alerts.

You may launch OMSA for any of the managed servers from within ITA, by right-clicking the server in the devices view, then select Application launch Server Administrator. This will open OMSA for that particular system in a new browser window. You can configure temparature, voltage, Fan rpm etc. thresholds there.

Note: To monitor alerts in ITA and take actions (like email) you need to set up proper SNMP communication between ITA system and the managed system (where OMSA is installed).
