IPMI over LAN
Can someone pls tell what IPMI over LAN is and when it should be enabled?

i have IPMI over the LAN disable and still i can connect to IDRAC remotely, so is this for connectivity for KVM ?? because i am getting connection failed error while connecting kvm, so is that IPMI for remote kvm console connectivity??
