Could you kindly confirm whether you configured ITA to discover "
All Devices" and not "
Only Instrumented Devices"? This setting is available in the
Discovery and Monitoring->
Discovery Configuration... dialog.
Since you mention that your devices are neither SNMP nor CIM capable, and ITA is not even listing them under Unknown, I guess you might have configured ITA discovery setting as Discover "Only Instrumented Devices". Try changing it and perform a discovery again on the range... see if it works.

As I stated, these devices are NOT snmp nor cim capable.
In ITA 7, I had these devices under the 'Unknown' category, in ITA 8 they do NOT show up under the 'Unknown' category.
I want to know how to get these devices back under the 'Unknown' category?
