IT Assistant and SNMP Write community
Hello,
I am trying to figure out if I need to have an SNMP community with READ_WRITE permissions to just monitor servers. I currently have ITA installed and Openmanage running on around 400 servers but I am hesitant to deploy a write community for security reasons. Can someone tell me if it is nessecary to have a write community for ITA and Openmanage to work in a monitoring mode only. Thanks,

Matt,
We only have a read SNMP community and it's working fine for us for monitoring 200 servers. Note this is with ITA 6.5.3.14.
