I'm also having this issue:
In the troubleshooting tool I ran a CIM Connectivity test and got the following error:
Connected to - Windows Name Space, Server Name Space.
Failed to connect to - Client Name Space. Help me resolve

All other tests run fine.

This is unrelated to the post above.

This sound like SNMP authentication errors,

go to the SNMP Service, on the security tab see if the "send authentication trap" box is checked if it is uncheck it and the alerts should stop.
