Is this still the case that IT Assistant is only validated on W2k. I have it installed on Xp but can't get the email alerts to work

Hi Gareth,
The download site and readme indicate support for Windows XP. However I have never tried to install on an XP platform as we do not yet support XP on PowerEdge Servers.

I cannot run IT Assistant (our OpenManage server is W2K) from an XP machine.
Why is this?

Dell OpenManage IT Assistant is currently only validated on NT 4.0 and Win2000.
