MIB-Dell-10892
Someone could tell me how to load the file MIB-Dell-10892 on Dell PowerEdge servers. The servers are under Red Hat Linux, I installed the packages net-snmp and net-snmp-utils, configured the snmpd.conf file, translate it other mibs, but Dell does not. I do not know if I have something else to be done to solve the problem. Greetings.

If you are needing an SNMP agent on the servers, then install OpenManage Server Administrator. If you need to interpret the SNMP traps coming from other servers, then you install Dell MIBs for PowerEdge into whatever SNMP monitoring utility you are using.

I want to implement the MIB-Dell-10892 in zabbix to monitor alerts related to server hardware, for that I have installed the packages net-snmp and net-snmp-utils on Dell PowerEdge servers, which run under Red Hat Linux, I copied the mib file in the / usr / share / snmp / mibs, but when you run the command snmpwalk the OID can not get me return any value. I configured the snmpd.conf file to display all the mibs, but just do not go the Dell. Only I need to try to install the Dell Open Manage Server Administrator on the servers to see if that works. If anyone knows a solution to this problem, I would appreciate me indicate. Thank you very much.

Hi,
Did you find a solution to the problem?
I have a similar problem, but the Open Manage Server Administrator does not work in
my redhat version 6.3 i686.
Or if you find a solution to use dell mibs without installing the OMSA it is much appreciated.

I have already installed OMSA on PowerEdge R810, but still unable to monitor hardware health in SolarWinds.
Please suggest me.
