OMSA 9.3 Java Version out of support
Our auditing software has flagged the version of Java in use by OMSA on RHEL systems as unsupported.
The current version of Java in the OMSA folders is reporting as:
java 10.0.1 2018-04-17
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 18.3 (build 10.0.1+10)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 18.3 (build 10.0.1+10, mixed mode)
when checked with java --version which shows as out of support on the Java website.
We need this to be updated in order to be able to continue using OMSA without issues under our security policies.
If I need to report this somewhere else just point me in the right direction.

you can use "system JRE" option available in OMSA or wait till next release which will have updated JRE.
install JDK 11.0.4 which is LTS version.
- Log in OMSA
- goto Preferences --> General settings -- Java Runtime Environment - select System JRE as 11.0.4.

My preferences says, "No System JRE available." Is that because java has not been manually installed or is it because the option really is not available.

Hello swolowiec,
On the preference page onscreen help content, you can observe some more pointers if you are not seeing your System JRE.
I hope this would help further isolate and resolve the trouble being faced.
