Open Network Manager Login
I'm having a problem getting this application to work. After the installation had completed, the appserver icon in the task tray doesn't get any further than having a yellow indicator and the mouse over says it's initializing. I let it sit like this for about ten minutes and nothing changed. Next I started the Network Manager client and the Logon screen appeared. I entered "admin" and no password as it states in the quick start guide. After a few seconds the logon screen disappeared and another screen appeared stating that the logon password has expired and promted me to enter the old password, a new password and confirm new password. I clicked the OK button and a few seconds after that I recieved the following error: com.dorado.runtime.OWEventException and nothing changed. I closed the network manager and started it again and this time at the logon screen I entered admin w/ the new password and it tells me Invalid Logon, so then I tried it with a blank password and it too says invalid logon. I closed it down and restarted my computer and tried it again, but I get the same result.
For the heck of it I uninstalled the application, restarted and re-installed and performed the process above, but I get the same result and I get that same exception. Any ideas as to how I can get around this? I'm trying to run this on a Dell Latitude C840 with OMCI installed, Win2k SP4 plus latest security patches, .NET Framework, 512 MB memory. The appserver.log looks find until I try and logon and then it throws a bunch of as follows:

It won't let me post the rest of the exception output as there are characters that are giving me errors when trying to submit it.

If you read the forum, you'll notice we have another post regarding this, with similar issues. We're currently working to identify and resolve the problem.
One question I do have, is whether or not this system has dual network cards in it? (i.e. an onboard NIC + wireless NIC, for example)

Yes, I do have a PCMCIA wireless network card (Linksys WPC11 802.11b) that I use in the laptop at times, but when I was working with Open Network Manager, I did not have the card installed. Athough the Linksys Wireless Monitoring software was loaded in the background. At the time I was trying this software I was docked to the Dell port replicator and using the NIC that was in port replicator.

Yes I do show 2 network connections, the first one says disabled and thats for the internal NIC and the second is enabled and thats for the NIC in the port replicator.

If you look in Start->Settings->Network & Dial-up Connections, does it show two connections, and if so, is the first one active or inactive?

Under the product install directory, look in oware/temp for sonicmq_appserver.log.
It will give an indication as to the cause of the error.

My post under the thread "App Server doesn't complete initialization" contains related information.
