PowerEdge R540/R640 Bios & iDRAC firmware update paths to latest
Hi all,
I've seen a lot of conflicting information online - I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction for the recommended update paths to get the BIOS and iDRAC versions of our servers up to the latest.
Poweredge R540
BIOS: 1.4.8
iDRAC: 3.21.23.22
Poweredge R640
BIOS: 2.4.8
iDRAC: 4.00.00.00
Many thanks in advance :)

@DELL-Charles R Legend, thank you so much
Out of curiosity, is there somewhere I can find this information online for future reference? I couldn't find anything definitive on the support page for the R640 (although it's highly likely I missed something)

Hello,
there is no online article that explain thatm it depends by the configuration and by the model of the server.
Thanks
