Geert, Start by flashing your system bios, embedded server management, and embedded remote access card to the latest revision, then install Dell Open Manage Server Administrator version 1.7.
You are correct. The 2.8 driver and firmware have not yet been posted for download.
If the PERC3di driver and firmware are version 2.7.1, Array Manager 3.5 will give you the option to update the driver and firmware to 2.8.0 automatically. You would not want to do this if a hard drive is offline.
Also - check your PERC3/Di firmware and driver.... to ensure they are correct and current.
OMSA 3.3.3 is old.
NOTE - OMSA 1.7 will NOT install correctly on your machine. It blows my mind that Dell keeps recommending it.
OMSA 1.7 installs Array Manager 3.5. AM3.5 fails because it has a dependency for the PERC3/Di firmware and driver of ver2.8. Dell released OMSA 1.7 with this dependency, but has NOT YET RELEASED Perc3di firmware/driver 2.8...... so the array management portion fails.
I would install OMSA 1.6 personally.... which WILL work on your system until Dell fixes this problem.
