r730xd prompt Uefi0060

My R730XD has 2 external GPUs and is powered by an external power supply, but strangely enough, the R730XD prompts me to be underpowered?

I don't have this problem when I'm using one GPU, but I do get two of them, and I'm sure I won't be overpowering the host. What can I do to fix this error or turn off this annoying alarm?

This annoying alarm can even block the boot process, and I have to select F1 on the page to boot my OS when I reboot my console, which is so annoying!

Hello,

The R730xd does not support internal or external GPUs.

If you remove them do you still get the UEFI0060 error?

Using GPUs on the R730xd may or may not work. Dell did not validate or support any.

Maybe someone in the community that has done it can share their experience.

@DELL-Charles R It seems to me like extra power to PCIe, but it feels a bit unusual that this extra power is being overlooked. At the moment, ignoring the alarm and running it is useless to send other exceptions, but the blocking of the activation and the alarm light are very troublesome

I agree with Charles, the GPS, the PSU, none of those are Dell certified. I would also argue if you still see the same symptom without those parts.

@DELL-Young E I don't have this problem when I use a GPU. Or rather, how do I expand the power supply? And I have a question, if I use 750W with 2 EPPs, will it add up to 1500W? Or 750W from the main and standby?

Hello,

I can't tell the behavior on a R730xd as Dell did not validate GPUs.

You may try following the R730 GPU guidelines and get redundant 1100W PSU.

GPUs require a redundant 1100W power supply.

Again it still may not work. I sorry I don’t have any more information for GPU on R730xd.

@DELL-Charles R Can't 2 x 750W be stacked?, or tell me how to block this alarm. I don't have a 1100W power supply on hand at the moment.

Hello,

You can try configure PSU without redundancy :
