Remote Bios Flash Problems
Greetings all,
Using Openmanage Version 6.5.3.14 and the most recent client OMCI version. Running the openmange IT assistant on a GX280 Windows XPSP2. Unable to successfully bios flash machines on network. Recieve "Cannot communicate with selected system. Please verify network connectivity and instrumentation status. Bios flash failed." Do have successful communication with all clients through openmanage regarding status, hardware, alerts, shutdown, etc.
Successfully create HDR files but get the same above error for all our optiplexes, GX50s, GX260s, and GX280s. Not using DCOM to communicate. The option is not checked and greyed out. Have noticed in event viewer on both the management station and teh client trying to flash DCOM 10009 errors.
Is DCOM necessary for bios flash? Have read the users guide and assume I am using the UDP method for flash.
