server admin storage missing

sorry for my English, My system is Power Edge 2650. My open management array manager control work before upgrade to win server 2003, after upgrade array manager stop working. Now I uninstall everything and install server admin 5.2, all is working but the storage management is empty no task available I cannot use the raid array manager . I chat with Dell Technician twice but all they told me I do it but still the same problem. I upgrade the Bios A21, I upgrade the Raid Firmware to 2.81 6098, the raid driver is 5.2 3646 I upgrade everything and still the same problem, no storage array manager available. The OMSA pre Check, it cannot read the current Raid Firmware version, but I run SUU and read everything fine. I think because OMSA cannot read the current firmware version it not install or something with storage management. Someone know how I can use my storage management again? Novato

Here are some things to check:
1. Make sure your PERC drivers and firmware are up to date.
2. Go to Add/Remove Programs, Change the OpenManage Server Administrator install, and make sure the Storage Management component is installed.
3. Make sure the DSM SA services are all running, there should be 4 of them.

Then start OMSA and see if Storage shows up.

During installation of OpenManage Server Administrator (OMSA) choose Custom installation and make sure the Storage component is selected.

Go into Device manager, find your scsi controller, right on the scsi controller and goto properties. Click on the driver tab. If the driver provider is not adaptec then you need to manually install the proper scsi card driver from the support.dell.com website. I had 5 of 60 servers using the Microsoft driver and there was no storage section in server administrator. Once I switched the driver to adaptec the problem was solved. Yes OMSA said that the latest version of the driver was installed. It was telling the truth, the driver was installed, but not being used.
