Server shows as unknown in IT Assistant

I have one server that I cannot get to show up in IT Assistant because we have it set to only discover instrumented devices. If I change this setting, the server

shows up as an unknown device, yet when you troubleshoot it, name resolution, ping and snmp all pass with flying colors. I can also connect directly to OpenManage

on the server using a browser and port 1311.  Does anyone have any idea why this server might not be showing up correctly? Thanks in advance for any insight!

Thanks for posting!  It is probably your SNMP settings on the server.  Follow the instructions in the SNMP video on http://support.dell.com/enterprise_videos, and see if that helps.  If it doesn't, make sure the install of OMSA on the server is up to date.
