Thanks for posting!  There is not just one OID, but lots and lots of them. Get the Dell MIBs for PowerEdge download from the download site, that will have the OIDs and associated code that you may be able to import into ServersCheck.

You could just use IT Assistant, which is a free download from Dell:

I downloaded that file. How do I find the correct OID to use?

Each OID corresponds to a different SNMP trap, and thus a different message coming out of OMSA.  If there is a specific thing you want to get alerts for you can maybe search for it, but I recommend importing the entire list if possible into whatever software you are using to receive and use the SNMP traps.

I tried your suggestion of installing IT Assistant. During the install though I get an error for SQL Express that says: "Cannot alter the login 'sa', because it does not exist or you do not have permission" Any ideas?

Well, I got IT Assistant installed but it's kind of a confusing program. Where do I setup a device to monitor??

As for your SQL SA question, that is probably the SQL Admin.  If you already have SQL on the system you are installing ITA on, problems like that can happen.  I recommend installing it on a system that does not have SQL on it already.

As for how to use it, check out the tutorials in the Enterprise Tutorials page, specifically the ones on SNMP and discovery ranges.
