UPS 3750W
First off let me apologise for the location I've placed this , I cant seem to find UPS section so if a moderator can move it please do.
We have a DELL 3750W UPS and I recently had to replace the batteries, so I thought, let update firmware and reset its settings to give it a little refresh. - Big Mistake it seems.
Here's my problem.
I can access the management card using Putty - I can set IP addresses I can reset it to factory defaults, I can reset password back to default , I can access the UPS via USB and the UPS monitoring software displays information on the UPS.
What I cant do is access the Web console via IP address.
If I use http:/IP Address I get "Management Card in SSL Mode Click here to use SSL"
If I switch to https the page fails to load with (ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR) I believe this is related to the strength of the SSL Encryption? or RSA key?
I did manage to get the credential to pop up once but this absolutely fails on the the credentials reset back to admin & admin. even though I can enter maintenance mode using this password via the serial connection and Putty
I've scoured the internet looking for a fix but keep hitting brick walls.
Anyone out there come access this?

Jayrou,
The first things I would look at is if the firmware on the 3750 is current, as well as if the browser you are using is supported.
The Dell UPS Local Node Manager graphical interface has been tested with:
For optimal performance, Google Chrome or Firefox 3.6 is recommended. For good performance, Firefox 3.0 or Internet Explorer 7, 8 are possible. IE6 should work but the performance is not optimal
Let me know how it goes.

Chris thanks for your response, the firmware is current for the UPS but not the management card which can only be updated via the Web GUI if Im not mistaken.
The Local Node Manager works on my PC under Chrome but its the Web GUI of the device I cant access.
Ive tried Opera, Chrome , IE 11 which all give me the same errors.
I will try an older version of one of you have mentioned to see if that can help.
Many thanks
James

Well Chris your suggestion of an older browser has got me up and running.
I downloaded a version of Mozilla which allowed me to log on to the UPS GUI and upgrade the NMC firmware, in turn this allowed me access to the GUI from current browsers
Many thanks for your assistance
