Using Server Assistant to install VMWare ESX 3.0.1

Question

I am using the Dell Open Manage 5.2 CD to setup my new Dell Poweredge 1950. I want to install VMWare ESX 3.0.1 as the OS. The VMWare server does not appear as one of the installation options. Is there a special configuration step that I need to do or can I just use one of the Linux OS options that are listed?

Just boot direct from the ESX cd and load it, it works fine.
