VMware DirectPath PE710
I have a PowerEdge710 with 3 VM's on it (ESXI 5.0), and I have a LPe12000 FC card successfully using DirectPath to one of the VM's. I added a SAS HBA last night, which I would like to DirectPath to one of the other VM's, but its not available, its only appearing list of deviced to add to the VM that has the LPE card already using DirectPath. Is this to be expected ? Am I missing something ?

Which slot is it installed. If you go to the LSPCI in the CLI is it listed there?

It should work short of incompatible hardware. What is the SAS HBA you installed?

Ah, a slight misunderstanding. The device is accepted as a pass through device.
Its available to the VM that already has the LPe card in passthrough mode, but its not available to the VM I would like to add the card to...

Its located in physical slot 1.
