Hello, Dell OpenManage is a suite of tools that helps you discover, monitor, manage, and deploy Dell servers. The basic level of management is provided by the iDRAC, a controller card embedded in the motherboard. Advanced management options are provided at an operating system level with the OpenManage suite. The key tools for managing Dell PowerEdge servers are iDRAC and the one-to-many OpenManage Enterprise (OME) console. OpenManage Enterprise helps system administrators in the complete life cycle management of multiple generations of PowerEdge servers

If you want to use Microsoft Windows Admin Center to manage your Dell servers, you can install the Dell OpenManage Integration with Microsoft Windows Admin Center extension. This extension allows you to view and monitor the health, inventory, and iDRAC information of your Dell servers, as well as perform system updates and cluster-aware updating. You can find further information from here Support for Dell OpenManage Integration with Microsoft Windows Admin Center | Dell US

Hope that helps!

Hi,

I'm trying to connect from windows admin center to Dell R650xs server and have such errors:

Unable to communicate to target node serv . Reasons: 1. Target node may be in a reboot or powered off state. 2. Firewall may block the communication between the target node and the network share through SMB port 445. 3. You may not be connected to the target node/cluster using Manage As credentials. For more information, see the Troubleshooting section in the OMIMSWAC user's guide.

One or more hardware alert prerequisite checks are non-compliant and must be fixed. Click Resolve to fix the issues or view recommendations on how to resolve issues.

With the second error I don't have any "Resolve" button

Could you try reinstall?

  1. Reinstall the Dell OpenManage Integration extension in WAC.
  2. Connect to one of your physical Dell Servers in WAC.
  3. Scroll down and click on the Dell EMC OpenManage Integration extension.
  4. Accept the terms of service
Review of the Dell EMC Open Manage Windows Admin Center Extension – #WindowsAdminCenter

Dell EMC OpenManage Integration with Microsoft Windows Admin Center (OMIMSWAC) enables you to manage the Dell EMC PowerEdge servers as hosts, Microsoft Failover Clusters created with Dell EMC PowerEdge Servers, and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure created with Dell EMC Microsoft Storage Spaces Direct Ready Nodes. OMIMSWAC simplifies the tasks of IT administrators by remotely managing the Dell EMC servers and clusters throughout their lifecycle.

Click on Install

Windows Admin Center will re-load once the extension has been installed.

Next, connect to one of your physical Dell Servers to see the extension.

Scroll down and click on the Dell EMC OpenManage Integration extension.

Accept the terms of service by clicking Accept.

It took a few minutes for the Inventory Data to appear.

You can see a dashboard of all physical system resources.
