Windows Server 2008 & Hyper-V w/ OpenManage

Hello-

I just purchased a PowerEdge 2900 to run Windows Server 2008 Enteprise (x64) w/ Hyper-V.

Questions

* Is there a OpenManage version (e.g., beta) that works with Hyper-V?
   - If yes, how can I get a copy?
   - If no, how soon after Server 2008 RTMs, should we expect Hyper-V support?
* How does the OpenManage agent work on a Hyper-V system (e.g., can the agent run in the parent partition and "see through" directly to the HW)?

Thanks!

Standard OpenManage versions will work. You dont need any special versions of OpenManage. Make sure you get the latest (I think 5.4 or 5.4.1 for M805/M905).

OM agent should be installed in parent partition and it directly sees the hardware.

Have you seen the documents here: http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/software/HyperV/en/. It might be useful. Copy paste from solution guide "Dell OpenManage™ support in the Windows Server 2008 Parent Partition or physical server management...."
