Bypass Windows Startup Logon Password?

Question

Is there a way to bypass the Startup Password request on the Venue 8 Pro? I have attempted the normal Windows 8.1 procedure of running "netplwiz" to access the User Accounts. However, the checkbox option for "Users must enter a username and password to access this computer" does not appear. Has this been disabled for the tablet? Is there a work around?

The check box should be there. I Googled the problem and found instructions for getting the check box back.
