Charge cable on Venue Pro 11
Help! The charge cable on my Venue Pro 11 is extremely short so I am unable to use my tablet when it is charging. I have tried buying longer cables but then my tablet will not charge. Has anyone else had this issue? Did you eventually find a longer cable that worked, and if so, what brand and length did you buy? So far, I have bought 3 different brand cables and none have worked. I need a longer cable than this crummy 3 foot one that came with the Venue Pro 11. Is there a possibility that my battery charger is faulty so it doesn't send enough power through the longer charging cables? Please note, the battery charger does light when plugged in but the charging light on the tablet does not come on with any cord except the original. Thank you for any assistance.

Robin,
I bought a new power cord direct from Dell (who now offer a longer version) and it still didn't work. It turns out that the port for the power cable is the problem. If I play with the cord it will eventually get in the right position to charge so I will be having the tablet serviced.

These Venues are slow to charge regardless of lead.
My original lead was knocked which resulted in an internal break at the Micro usb plug.
The break would either stop charging or short the charger where it would shutdown to prevent damage.(the light would go off)
I purchased a 1.8m cord from ebay. It seems to be doing the job adequately.
