dell streak 5 led flash not working

I re read your post, i am seeing that you are referring to one of the two led lamps in your flash.. sorry.

Thats a hard one to determine if you can take it upon yourself to try and find parts to repair it yourself.  How old is your Streak? Is it under warranty?

I have two lines on my account and just upgraded the second line with a second Streak (because I IS in luv with the Streak).  Anyway, the upgrade was 99$, wondering would your upgrade cost be as ecenomical as repairing the led?

Have you checked the xda-dev site or android forums catered to the streak?

I can feel for you. I hate when even one facet of my dell streak is not working properly.

Yes they should.... either repair or swap out with you..   I dont know how the swap works, but it would be a bummer , just a day without my streak.  Call tech support fir warranties to get the ball rolling in your case.

i sent my streak to dell and they ve returned in one week. Really quickly. Flash now is working but i  dont know if they've change it. The only visible change is that they installed android 2.2( I had 2.2.2). I don't know if that was the problem, but my streak now is much more fast...

One week turnaround, thats great.  Glad your Streak is whole again ,  and FASTER
