Dell Streak all the issues and more

Since the dreaded 2.1 upgrade, I have the same problems as most (well everybody else). I have spoken to my U.K. Provider on many occasions and today, they told me that I could switch my handset but not for a dell streak as they have been withdraw. All I want is the new update to be here now or a fix to the issues that have been raised in the many threads I have been reading for the last couple of weeks. 

The problem that I only found out 5 minutes ago, is that I cannot place any media on my device via the usb whereas on 1.6 os I could. The only way is to take the card out and put it in my xps laptop. 

Although there are many issues regarding my streak the one thats bugging me most is that the Nuance voice recognition software has disappeared rendering handsfree useless. Also I can receive bluetooth files but cannot send. Gps not working/very slow.

I have looked to downgrade back to the 1.6 os but being a noob I dont know which build I was on 4399 or 3883. As anyone got any idea ? because I certainly have not (
