Based on other Venue user posting the same issue, reinstalling the OS does not fix this hardware malfunction. I also do not see this issue on the Venue 5050 "Top solutions" page. Dell does not offer "parts" for a tablet. If still under warranty, Dell would simply issue an exchange.
