Dell Venue 8 7840 Headphone/Audio Jack Problem
Hi,
I just picked up a Dell 8 7840 yesterday and I am having problems also with the headphone/audio jack. I saw some other posts on this topic and I am looking for help before i return this tablet for another brand.
The problem is clicking/tapping noise I hear when headphones are plugged in. It seems to be for any media APP like Netflix, You Tube, etc. I have attempted to remedy this problem by taking out and reinserting then headphones and by looking at adjusting the noise settings and neither was successful.
I really like this tablet and the photography features, but I am very concerned about this noise and I hope there is some sort of fix to this.
Does anyone have any suggestions or has anyone experienced similar issues?
Ed

Have you updated your tablet? I don't own this tablet, on my tablet I use Bluetooth headset.

The ear buds I use are Sennheiser MM30G with no problem. Love this tablet.

@mrcleary
That could be the answer, I don't know, have always used bluetooth, can't stand the cord. I use Targus model TA-44HP-BT
