Dell Venue 8 pro battery charging problem
Hi!
I bought a DELL Venue 8 PRO a month ago. So far I never let the battery to fully discharge, but yesterday I let it happen. Now I can not switch my tablet on. I left on the charger for 5 hours, the white LED doesn't work at all. When I press the power button only the red LED is illuminating. I tried to switch it on by pressing the power button for 3 seconds, no response.
*UPDATE: Since my first post, I left my tablet on the charger, now for to 2 days, no response*

After two great months of use, my son finally let his completely drain. We tried keeping it on the charger for up to a week. Even tried charging it with a Venue 11 Charger that I had from work. Called Dell and after an hour on the phone, they pulled it back into their Repair Depot. They replaced the motherboard and updated the OS. Received back from the Depot yesterday and the tablet worked again. We went to try and charge it again and it did not indicate that it was recognizing the charger. Called Dell again. After another hour on the phone, it will be going to back to the Depot again for 'observation'.

Hi,
My tablet has the same problem, sent to repair, replaced the mother board-- worked for a few months and same thing is happening now. Unfortunately for me it is out of warranty now and I have to pay to fix this Dell problem. I have a useless tablet and I'm rather annoyed that Dell knows this problem exists and cannot take care of its customers by repairing it. I will not buy another dell product, they don't care about the quality of their products.
