Dell Venue 8 Pro Touchscreen Problem

Hello Dell Techs and Users!

I have a Venue 8 Pro and I love it.  However, recently, I have noticed a touchscreen problem.  When my screen is in portrait mode with the windows button up, I cannot swipe in from the right.  Likewise, if I rotate the screen couter-clockwise to landscape with the windows button on the left, I cannot swipe down from the top.  I took it to my local Microsoft store where I purchased it, and they said to contact Dell as it is under warranty (purchased Dec, 2013) and it sounds like the digitizer is flaky.  How do I resolve this issue?

It sounds like you need to re-calibrate your screen (this same situation occurred to me).  Do a search on the tablet for "calibrate".  For me, it worked to re-set the calibration to the original settings--doing the re-calibration process hadn't helped.
