hi Sandeep - I don't think you read my steps in my post. I stated that, "I had downloaded the Dell drivers cab for the Latitude 10 and installed all the drivers.." but the drivers from Dell do not work for the unknown devices. When I try to use the drivers provided by Dell i get the error from my previous post. Not sure what downloading the same drivers will do if they do not work.

So the issue is resolved. After investigating the issue a little more I came across another post on MS forums that stated to install KB2756872 to resolve the issue. When searching MS for KB2756872, i was only getting the x64 version but when I used Windows Update that patch was available and when i downloaded and installed KB2756872 it resolved the issue.

To take this fix one step further I updated our WSUS server to include the KB2756872 patch in future updates.

I hope this post helps someone who experiences this issue.

I would like to inform you that we suggested our website as it was not clear if all the drivers are download by our website only.

We would require some more information in order to assist you further.

Open device manager>right click on unknown devices>select properties.

One the new page click on details tab>Under property select hardware ids.

Below that page it would give some information like "PCI\VEN".

Please provide us with the information displayed so we can check and advise you further.

the Hardware ID is ACPI\VEN_INT&DEV_0005 and ACPI\VEN_INT&DEV_0004

Strange....I'm not seeing any BSOD and I'm using a similar method to deploy these. I have all my drivers separated by make and model and use a drivergroup and a TS variable to call the correct drivers. Is this what you are doing or did you dump all the drivers into the drivers container and are letting MDT/Windows PnP figure out the correct drivers? Another thing I use is WSUS to fully patch my image when building and deploying and that applies the KB2756872 update that resolves the unknown devices. Maybe if you explain your setup I can help or at least point you in the right direction.

We are using MDT to implement the Drivers. The Drivers are imported from the CAB file from Dell provided. The BT Driver will be installed as an Application like the UMTS Driver. Only These 2 Drivers are missing.

How are you applying the drivers? Are you using MDT or another tool to inject drivers during imaging or are you loading the OS and then installing/updating drivers via Device Manager? Are you missing more than the Intel Low Power Subsystem DMA Controller and  Intel UART DMA?

then i get a blue Screen... and it did not fix the Driver issue

@b.Hoffman -  Run the Windows update for KB2756872and that will resolve the unknown devices in Device Manager.

I installed Enterprise and now the wwan card and webcam don't work despite multiple driver installs.

I am testing to deploy win 8 enterprise into Latitude 10 with MDT 2012update1 like you.

And I also found the two unknown devices under computer node in the device manager after deploying win 8 enterprise.

I encountered the same situation as you experienced.

And the issue disappears just after KB2756872 installed.

The device names are below

 Intel(R) Low Power Subsystem DMA Controller.

 Intel(R) UART DMA

It is strange for me, but it really works fine as you said.

Tomorrow I will verify the functionality to be sure and confirm whether the windows update package works under MDT package node.

Additional information.

MDT can select the driver injection mode.

1) Copy matched drivers (PnP).

2) Copy all filtered drivers.

MDT defaults is #1.

Latitude 10 seems to require #2.

WIFI, Audio, Camera, everything works fine with Windows 8 x86 JA, Latitude 10 A00 BIOS version.

I didn't check out the Bluetooth device because  I don't have bluetooth device now.

MDT Online deployment is OK with Secure boot ON.

BitLocker OK under the limited conditions (TPM).

A00 BIOS seems to include the display flow of TPM status. A04 BIOS might fix the issue.

The latitude I am evaluating is a rental product,  

so I cannot update the BIOS (UEFI) from A00 to A04.

I would like to know the result. Someone will try it, I think.

However, MDT offline (Media) deployment has the problem.

It seems not to come from Secure boot.

I switched ON and OFF the Secure boot mode, the situation has not been changed.

After the booting, the light blue screen shows up, then it is powered off automatically.

The LTI wizard never show up...

Changing scratch size of WinPE doesn't cure the symptom at the moment.

The debugging of this phase (pre-LTI wizard) is so hard

that  Dell product team should provide the right information, I think.

There is no log.
