Sharing the microUSB port

I have a Venue Pro 8.

Has anyone here plugged in a microUSB OTG to USB 2.0 adapter, then plugged in a

USB extension hub (to gain more USB ports) and finally plugged in a USB keyboard and mouse into the extension hub?

Does it work?

TIA

Yep. :emotion-1: Note: depending on power needs, you might need a powered hub, such as when using an external drive or DVD player; likely not needed for less power-hungry keyboards, mice and thumbdrives.

OK I'm making a bit of progress now.

I changed the connector and now I can use my mouse/keyboard with my tablet. :)

I had been using a PS/2 to USB 2.0 adapter (keyboard and mouse) but bought a smaller lighter

adapter with just one plug connector a couple of months ago.

This was the first time I tried it out and it didn't work.

My key/mouse double plug worked though. I'm not sure what's going on there.

OK so I went out and bought a MicoUSB OTG to USB 2.0 adapter and plugged in my mouse, but it isn't recognized.

Any tips on how to get it working?

TIA!

I am making some progress now.

I changed the adapter (USB-PS/2) to an older one with key/mouse and it worked!

I bought the new one because it was smaller and lighter, but never tried it until now.

I wonder why it didn't work? I guess the other one must have some active electronics in it?
