Streak 5 cannot be switched on any longer
Dear all,
after having had issues with applications that suddenly do not run any longer, or shut down automatically, I cannot switch on my Streak any longer. The device will not boot. When switching it on, it then just shows the Dell Logo in the middle of the screen, and stays like this.
Could anyone help me with that, please?

Exactly on November the 12th, ie yesterday, I tried the same, and did not work. Dell obviously had put the Streak 5 too soon onto the market, did not fix the bugs, still does not get things fixed, couldn't care less and just was interested in charging me 500 € for the device. I was stupid enough to buy it, thus I will have to switch to Apple. More expensive, but runs smoother than Android on devices that are not adapted to it.

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem. It happens on November 12th. Is this a matter of chance only? I switched from Opera Mini to SMS reading and then the message appeared, that the launcher is corrupted. And after restart Dell Streak, the Dell Logo alternates with black screen only.
I tried factory reset as well as emergency software recovery, but it still doesn't work.
:-(
