Venue Pro 8 - Power Scheme missing options (Clean Win8 Install)

Hi All,

I've had to clean the entire HD (including recovery partitions) and after installing my own Windows 8 and all the drivers I only have limited options in my power scheme making the tablet run out of battery quickly in connect_standby.

How can I setup/install the right software to make sure all the right power options (like Network, Drive, etc, etc) show up?

Thank you,

Niels

nvm, there was a drain caused by the drivers installed by my Plugable Docking.

Currently there is a known issue where the DisplayLink drivers cause the Intel HD Graphics to not enter a low power state, even while the Venue is in sleep mode. The battery drain is about 6% per hour compared to only about 1% without the DisplayLink software. Currently the best way around this issue without uninstalling and reinstalling the DisplayLink software between use is to just disable the “DisplayLinkManager” service when not in use and enable it when needed.
