Windows 10 on Venue 8, numerous issues
Have a Venue 8 pro that was working well with Windows 8 with the following caveat, on occasion, the wireless would just go out. No wireless, no BT. I saw all of the articles on the Windows update issue and everything, so I followed those instructions, updated drivers, etc to no avail other than it working better (didn't fail as much). Updated BIOS to A11, installed windows 10, updated all drivers from support and now, I can get about 30 minutes of usage before the wireless just dies. I'll take whatever suggestion I can get. If I have to wipe it, I will, but that would be really ***, LOL.
thanks
Sam

Dell drivers (including for Win10) are available at the Dell support pages for each device. For the DV8P:

Hi
My Dell Venue 8 Pro was updated to Win 10 without first updating any drivers or BIOS. It now boots to the login screen and I type in the password and it logs in. Then it just freezes and does not respond to any screen commands. I tried this several times. Is there a way to safe boot the tablet so I can add the drivers and BIOS?
Thanks

I was able to get my dell Venue 8 Pro to respond to the screen. I have to hold down the screen for a few seconds, swipe up, and then it reacts like I am right clicking with a mouse. I installed the BIOS and all the current drivers but I still have this problem (I can not get to the action center or start menu. But this is a different problem so I will compose a new post in the software section. Have a nice day.
