Windows Phone 7 updates for Venue Pro 2 versions behind
Today I saw a post that showed the latest versions for Windows Phone 7 at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsphone/en-us/howto/wp7/basics/update-history.aspx, but when doing the update process thru Zune or over-air it says my Venue Pro has the latest version 7.0 (7004). This apears to be 2 revisions behind. Is anyone else seeing this with their Venue Pro?

It is interesting, and if everyone has the same firmware and OS version then perhaps it is a hardware issue. My hardware revision is 112.576.2.0. My firmware revision is 2250.1500.7004.105 and of course with the pre update yesterday my OS version is 7.0.7008.0.

http://www.wpcentral.com/dell-venue-pro-getting-nodo-starting-today-separate-firmware-update-coming-later this says NoDo possibly today and firmware update later on.

Congrats. I just plugged in and it says I'm up to date (7008). lol. So I'm heading back to the corner to continue waiting...:emotion-9: Hope it goes well for you.

I'm glad to hear that some folks are getting the update. It is even more encouraging to hear how well the update is working. Thanks all for the update. No Nodo for me yet. Hopefully tonight.

I sort of got an update the other day.
OS Version: 7.0.7008.0
Firmare Revision Number: 2250.1500.7004.15
Hardware revision Number: 112.576.2.0
New phones with OS version 7.0.7389.0 include all of the features and improvements that are included in OS version 7.0.7390.0.
No problems with the phone.

Can you confirm new Dells are recieving 7389?
I was under the impression that 7389 was the Sprint phone. though not exactly the same as 7390, its only a bug fix or 2 off. The next update in April/May should bring it to the same version as everyone else.
I also was under the impression that the Free Market phones...like the ones in India, recieved 7390 as stock. the difference is the firmware upgrade. We've all read that Lionel said the firmware is NOT in the US version release but will be received soon.
I would be curious though....are there any new builds of the VP, that are shipping in the US with NODO yet? what is that build number and firmware number?

I received Version 7.07390.0 with the Nodo update about a week ago.
But the firmware is still the same : 2250.1500.7004.105
Hoping for a firmware update from Dell that supposedly fixes the memory issue (235MB showing).

Hm, I guess Dell did not like me saying that support was difficult for the Venue Pro, so I will leave some of that out.
Before the upgrade:
