anyone seen a REST call user being denied but GUI access working
I have an AD account, enabled access via group membership.
I can login via GUI as AD account - great
I get denied access using the same account using the CLI ( REST API uemcli )
Is there any enhanced debugging or REST API logs to try to figure out whats happening ?

I would suggest to open a service request
BTW uemcli isnt the same as REST

mea cupla, mixing terminology, so to be specific
uemcli failing, gui working with same user.
Have opened a SR in parallel

Yes, work on the SR in parallel.
In the meantime, what the command you are using the error you're getting?
