Customer would like to know if he can send a test message through Syslog on Unity Array ?
Syslog / splunk admins are telling they are not receiving messages.
Is this possible? I couldn’t find any information on support search or KBs.
I found only VMAX KB (53082 and 53082) and Connectrix (57296).

just a quick update regarding this. Each filesystem has capacity alarm thresholds. These can be exercised on a test filesystem to trigger a snmp event which will go to your syslog server if configured.
