Hi @VMoussa.VCDx ,
Thank you for your post in our page.
Looking at the details provided so far, the information provided by @ChrisHolloway is the correct method to acquire the license files for the VSA appliance.
If you experience any issues with the license file for the VSA appliance, please update this Post with your issue, as well as a screenshot of any errors that you may be encountering.
Alternatively please feel free to send a private message to me and I can try to verify if there are any other workarounds to acquire the license files.

Hello Frites,
For all Dell EMC Unity Products except the community edition, A license must be purchased through the Dell EMC Sales team (may already be part of the sales order). Once a license is purchased, the user should receive an email with License Authorization Code (LAC) number.
The user needs to follow the instruction on the email to activate the license (one time). Once activated, the user can download the license file anytime (text file with details about licensed product, license key). Direct link will be provided on the email.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Hi Dell-Sam L,
Sorry not to say earlier.
I am using UnityVSA in trial version for training with vCenter.

Do I have to be a Dell EMC partner to create a free license key?
I can send you in MP the captures of the DPE and UUID.
DPE TYPE : Virtual_dpe DPE MODEL : VIRT DPE

Hello Frites,
Anyone can get a free license. You may need to register first, if you do not have an account already but this will be prompted from this same link: https://dell.to/2yPmzm8
Once your account is created then you can go to the following link and get your license. https://dell.to/383Xn88
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Hello Sam,
That night, I was able to register as a Business Client. And here is the page to generate the license key.
I finish downloading the appliance again with my active account and tomorrow I can continue my training!
Thanks a lot and see you soon!

I spent a few hours trying to get a license file for a UnityVSA today. Finally sussed it, so posting what I did here in the hope it helps someone...
1) I confirmed the UnityVSA had internet access and that DNS resolution was working using the VM console, by logging in as 'service' and PING'ing www.dellemc.com
2) I did not have any success using the URL https://dell.to/383Xn88 but I did using the URL https://www.dellemc.com/en-us/auth/elmeval.htm - the difference is subtle:
3) I did NOT copy/paste the whole System UUID into the website. Instead I copy/pasted the 5 sections separately, to ensure the "-"' dashes were not causing any issues in the background.
4) It took about 40-45 minutes from the UnityVSA ova being deployed & powered on, before I eventually got a license file issued. I am guessing it registers itself with some back-end system within Dell, that this website is checking before issuing the license file.
5) When you finally get the download button, if you right click and select "save link as" it will save as a .lic file, which is the supported file extension for installing into the initial configuration wizard
Enjoy.

Hi guys,
I've been trying to get an evaluation key for days but keep getting the "Not connected. Verify network" error message. I have tried all the suggestions in this thread but without success.
Is there something else I can try?
Thank you!

Hello sirpawel,
Have you tried to use a different browser? I was able to use your UUID and get the download to start. Are you logged in to the license site when trying to get the download?
