'Manage host file system using block' error while extending a datastore

Go0od morning y'all.

Yesterday, I got this error message while extending a datastore on a Unity :

The new size hasn't been displayed on the Unity web GUI, but on the vCenter.

I checked this morning again, and it's fine and I don't have any alarm.Did you already experience this behaviour ?

The new size is reflected on both sides now? vSphere and Unisphere?

I have seen this before yes. Sometimes the datastore needs to be resized manually on the vSphere side after a rescan.

Thanks for your answer.

The correct size is displayed on both VMware & Unity.

I was just wondering why an error was generated, whereas nothing's been logged.

The KBs confirm it's a "normal behaviour"
