Hello,
Our main EMC person is out for the holiday, but I think he'll be back Monday. In the meantime, I think you may be thinking of pools as servers, instead of being disk pools. NL-SAS drives won't be in the SAS pool. If you wanted to remove NL-SAS drives and replace them with SAS drives, that would give you more storage in the SAS pool. Apologies if I misunderstood what you're asking for. Linked below is some additional Unity documentation about pools that may be helpful.

You can use native replication to replicate your NAS server and filesystems from one pool to another, and then failover to that copy. Only thing to be careful of is if you're already replicating to another destination, you will have to do a full resync to the target.
Your other option is to use host based tools to do this move.
