Something else I forgot to ask and more impotant than anything else is, what needs to change on the Linux host if anything once NFSv4 is enabled?

I WILL NOT be creating a LInux based Kerberos realm, I'm going to lean on our existing Active Directory based KDC server.

I have 100's of Linux clients and so I"m hoping I don't need to make a change on ALL of them in order to work with NFSv4. My thought is it's simply re-mounting shares with the "nfsv4" syntax.

I hope!!??

The second link is a terrible guide that provides absolutely no detail for NFSv4 configuration. I don't need help configuring NFS, I need information on NFSv4 setup specifically.

Also, the first link I'm not sure what that is showing, is there supposed ot be some guide attached or something, because there is not.

These KB's offer no help and I'm surprised you provided these based on what I asked. The product is lacking highly tehcnical guides, most Unity guides are vague and only provide a very low level bit of information. This is a larger problem of coure in comparison to NetApp so we won't tackle that now.

But nevertheless these links didn't offer me any value.

@DELL-Sam L I will seemingly just use NetApps guide since Dell has nothing to offer in this regard.
