Powerpath migration enabler

I'm moving some VMs to new storage that use RDMs. I wanted to use 'clustered vmdk's but it looks like my Unity 300 does not support that. Since they are sql clusters they will need to use RDM. I was thinking about shutting the VMs down, attaching the RDMs and the new storage  to a windows host with powerpath migration enabler installed and using that to copy the data. its a lot of data so i think using that  might be the quickest. Anyone ever done this.
