Where to find about Dell EMC UNITY Rest API about LUN's modify operation and arguments?
I'm try to modified lun properties by unity's rest api but there is no any info about lun modify in Unisphere Management REST API Reference Guide.
Does any experts can help me to find these info?
Thanks.

Hi animal
Could you be more specific?
What exactly are you trying to change?
Thanks
Andre @ Dell EMC

I would suggest to look for it in the UEMCLI reference
The API calls usually have the same structure as the CLI

Hi Andre,
I need to change LUN's type (LUN, snapshot, or both) and/or host access (which host can access this lun) after LUN created.
In the Unisphere Management REST API Reference Guide, cannot find any LUN creation and modify operation and arguments.
Thank you.
Ricky

I think that UEMCLI command structure is different from REST API.
I'd tried that's not work!
Thanks.

All the info you need for RestAPI should be here:
https://support.emc.com/docu69899_Unity_Family_Unisphere_Management_REST_API_Reference_Guide.zip?language=en_US
And here:

actually there is not even a need to download - the REST API docs are also stored on every Unity or UnityVSA
they also include a Perl example
•Unisphere Management REST API Programmer’s Guide
–Explains REST and JSON concepts and how to make REST requests to the Unisphere Management Rest API
–Located at https:// /apidocs/programmers-guide/index.html
•Unisphere Management REST API Reference Guide
–Describes the resource types, operations, attributes, and arguments in the Unisphere Management REST API, along with other information, such as data types and enumerations
–Located at https:// /apidocs/index.html
•REST logs stored at /usr/apache-tomcat/logs/server.log
