No authentication is working for us, we tried the default passwords for admin and service accounts but we can't access the disk array.
Here are more details, the first of the four disks of the array was removed, for an unknown reason, but the disk was recovered, and we were told that it was touched, we inserted the disk in it's place et booted the array, and the array is stuck in service mode.
Is there a way to reinitialize the array from scratch?
Could you elaborate more about re-imaging the array? From what I have found, even this procedure needs some access to the array, and that's our problem, we don't have any access even with service account.
Is there any other way to reinstall/reinitialize the array using an external usb for example?
PS : the link you gave me concerns "PowerScale OneFS", what does this have to do with the unity 300?
There is not a button that is hit to do a factory reset of a unity 300 system. Here is a link to a kb that maybe of assistance. https://dell.to/3y7lpg3

You can try the imptitool method https://dell.to/2JOIVtD
Otherwise you may need to call phone support for access to EMC technician only level tools.

Is there a physical button you can press a hold to do a factory reset?

Hello Craisch,
There is not a button that is hit to do a factory reset of a unity 300 system. Here is a link to a kb that maybe of assistance. https://dell.to/3y7lpg3
