SQL DB LOG I/O critical performance

We running SQL DB on a UNITY300 with about 7K TPS. we built a LUN on a R10(4+4) SSD for LOG but it performing slow. the queue length is too high. We migrate it to 15K SAS HDDs also the same response.

Any idea to handle LOG I/O ? someone said increase HDDs. so he said to use 20 x 15K SAS HDD for just a 512MB log file size.

Any experience and solution ?

Hello M.Hani,

Here is the link to Dell EMC Unity: Microsoft SQL Server Best Practices.  I would check your configuration to make sure that it is following our best practies.  https://dell.to/2uUAdTf
