So after 4+ weeks of troubleshooting with engineers, turns out to be a bad SP.

After weeks of EMC pointing the finger at our network, turns out the problem was a bad NIC on the SP.

Nobody bothered to check the rx_erros on the SPs.

At least now it's fixed and wasn't related to the software upgrade.
